But nowadays there's no need to fly to the south of the island if instead you can stay in The White House at Sea Horse Ranch, the most exclusive gated community on the north coast. We are only ten minutes by cab or car from Puerto Plata international airport (POP), and just over an hour from Santiago airport (STI).
